• Mr Sean Cafferty - Managing Director

  21 years ago when I started Atlantis I would visit clients in a smart suit then put on overalls and take the rubbish off our jobs to the refuse tip. Nowadays, I'm happy to take a back seat to my fantastic team who are all specialists in their own 'chosen subjects'.

  Having such a talented and experienced team on board means I can concentrate on other key areas such as company strategy and business initiatives.

  Away from work, I love to travel. Family holidays are a big deal for me. I also love football, help to run Kendal United Junior Football Club, and try to watch England whenever I can. I do voluntary and enterprise work in local schools, and can often be found cycling in the local area and further afield.

    The Atlantis team! We just do the right thing. All straight forward, all enthusiastic, all professional.

• Mrs Sharon Taylor - General Manager

  My main job is to "keep on top" of suppliers, chase missing items and check that prices charged are correct - I am very forceful when it comes to problem solving. I keep the office running smoothly and our staff happy. I keep the showroom updated and looking its best and, together with Gary Birkett, run the showroom on a day to day basis.

  • What do you enjoy most about your job?

    Variety of the job - no two days are ever the same. Keeping up to date with new kitchens and new developments in the industry. I enjoy the camaraderie between the staff - we work hard but all get along really well.
    

• Mr Ian Radford - Director/Design Executive

  

  I started work with Sean over 20 years ago as a designer. I look after the day to day running of sales and leads that come into the showroom. I designate these to the designers who work alongside me, Stefan and Andrey. Each kitchen and customer is individual so I like to pick the right designer for each job.

  • What do you enjoy most about your job?

    The Atlantis team is the best there is. I love meeting new people every day from all walks of life. No two days are the same. I enjoy keeping up with new developments in the industry and new products that come onto the market every week. Atlantis is a very proud company and we pride ourselves on looking after our friends and customers, whom we all treat alike.

• Mr Gary Birkett - Technical Manager

  Once a kitchen or bedroom is sold, I go on site to carry out a full survey and then project manage the installation from start to finish. I also take care of any after sales queries.

  • What do you enjoy most about your job?

    Being able to use my vast experience and knowledge of product and installation to find the best solutions for customers.

• Mr Andrey Donsky - Design Executive

  

  I am 30 years old. I joined Atlantis team over 10 years ago while studying for my degree. After spending a couple of weeks at Atlantis on a work placement, Sean asked me if I wanted to join the team. I was half-way through my course so could only work part-time but this enabled me to pay my tuition fees. During this time I enjoyed the diversity of design work and the unique Atlantis working environment. When I finished my studies I was happy to accept Sean's offer and became a kitchen designer.

  • What do you enjoy most about your job?

    Working for the area's leading independent kitchen specialist in a friendly "family business" environment. Impressing my clients with fantastic designs for their projects, knowing that we can make their dream a reality with great products and trades we have at our disposal. Having creative freedom to provide individual designs for each client.

• Mr Stefan Hutton - Design Executive

  

  I'm 51, married with 2 children. Dedicated and proud to be able to produce my best design work for Atlantis. Fulfilling clients desires and requirements. I like anything to do with the Lake District, walking, nice food, football, architecture and interior design.

• Mrs Wendy Faulder - Customer Services

  I work alongside our Technical Manager to co-ordinate fitters and tradesmen during the completion of any outstanding works or snagging. I also take care of ordering and sourcing of parts or items needed to complete the work.

  • What do you enjoy most about your job?

    My job is extremely rewarding. I look after our customers and help to resolve any problems that might arise.

• Mrs Julia Pittman - Accounts Assistant

  I deal with sales invoices, purchases invoices, payment of sub-contractors, banking, wages and VAT.

  • What do you enjoy most about your job?

    Being responsible for my own workload. Friendly colleagues.
    

• Mr Roger Ladhams - Warehouse/Logistics

  I joined the team as a part-time delivery driver and as I gathered product knowledge became more involved in the logistics side of the business. When Paul is on holiday I also manage the warehouse.

    Working in a small team - getting things done.

• Mrs Cathrine Ashley-Dart - Office/Showroom Assistant

  My main job is ordering the kitchens for our clients and helping our fitters with any problems that may arise during a project. I demonstrate the various styles of kitchens and products we sell, and provide any information the customer might need.

    I enjoy everything! Meeting customers. The contact I have with suppliers, and the staff I work with. Every day is different.

  I deliver all the kitchens to clients homes and unload all incoming deliveries from suppliers

• Mrs Caroline Cliffe - Temporary Sales/Office Assistant

  I work 2 Saturdays every month, and show customers around the showroom, answer their queries and take telephone calls. The work is varied, challenging and very rewarding.

  Although I am only a temporary member of staff, I have been welcomed to the team by everyone since day one.
