Set within a beautifully restored barn, this kitchen brings a modern sensibility into a space rich with history and character. The brief was to create a layout that worked effortlessly for cooking, entertaining and everyday life, while feeling completely at home in its unique architectural context. With exposed beams, stone floors and a mezzanine above, the design needed to honour the building’s natural warmth and structure without competing with it.
The result is a kitchen that feels both confident and complementary. Sleek cabinetry in a deep graphite tone adds sophistication and contrast, while subtle detailing, like the copper trim and tactile materials, enhances the room’s depth and individuality. Every element has been considered to reflect the life lived here: sociable, stylish and easygoing.

The kitchen features handleless cabinetry in a Sheraton Inset Setosa Painted Graphite finish, offering a calm, modern base against the rustic features of the room. Copper trim details create subtle highlights that break up the dark tone with warmth and a tailored feel. Worktops are finished in 20mm Enzo Quartz Composite, providing a durable surface with natural veining that complements the stone flooring and timber beams above.
Functional highlights include deep pan drawers for practical storage, Le-Mans corner pull-outs to maximise space, and integrated Neff appliances for a sleek cooking experience. A Franke Maris black undermount sink is paired with a Quooker Combi Flex tap in black, delivering both hot water and striking design. LED strip lighting adds soft illumination to the workspace, creating mood and practicality in equal measure.
