Set within a light filled extension with sweeping garden views, this kitchen was designed as a sociable space where cooking, dining and relaxing naturally come together. The client wanted a kitchen that felt elegant and welcoming while offering the practicality needed for busy day to day living. Using the Chippendale Sovereign range in Light Grey, the finished design combines classic cabinetry with contemporary detailing to create a calm and beautifully balanced interior.
Large skylight and full height glazing flood the room with natural light, drawing attention to the soft tones and carefully selected finishes throughout the space. At the centre of the design sits a generous island with curved worktop detailing and integrated seating. This creates the perfect setting for casual breakfasts, entertaining friends or gathering with family at the end of the day.

The soft light grey cabinetry creates a warm and understated backdrop. It is complemented by striking Quartz Diore Orion worktops which introduce depth and texture to the scheme. Subtle lighting beneath the wall units and island adds warmth in the evenings, while the parquet flooring introduces rich natural character and a sense of craftsmanship throughout the room.
A carefully planned layout allowed space for a pull out larder and generous hidden storage. this helps the kitchen remain uncluttered and easy to use every day. Premium appliances from Siemens and Caple were selected for their clean styling and dependable performance, while the Villeroy & Boch sink and Quooker tap complete the space with practical everyday convenience and refined finishing touches.
Designed by Andrey Donsky, this project was all about creating a calm and welcoming kitchen that worked beautifully for both everyday life and entertaining. The natural light, soft grey cabinetry and carefully considered layout helped us create a space that feels elegant, practical and completely connected to the home.
