Calm, bold, warm or fresh, your kitchen should feel like home and reflect the way you live every day. A mood board can help build a picture of a kitchen that suits your personality and your lifestyle.
We’ve put together a few ideas capturing different moods and styles to show you how colour palettes, finishes, appliances, and layouts can come together beautifully to deliver the perfect kitchen scheme.
If you’d like professional guidance and help with creating a mood board, our kitchen designers are here to build on your ideas and shape a dream kitchen that’s completely yours. It all starts with a conversation.
Creating your own mood board
Questions? Answered!
Do I need to create a mood board?
The short answer is no. But you might find a handful of images you’ve collected, whether that be printed or on your phone, will help our team get a real feel for what you like (and what you don’t). We don’t expect you to design every aspect yourself – that’s what we’re here for! Our showroom includes a dedicated choices area where you can explore samples, play with combinations and build a mood board with our help, right here in the space.
I have strong ideas but struggling to pull them together. Can you help?
Of course. At Atlantis, we’re not just designers but great listeners too. Bring what you have, however unfinished or sketched, and we can help you shape it into a clear and cohesive vision. Whether it’s editing down choices or supporting you to find the perfect finish or materials to bring your design to life, we’ll work with you step by step.
Will my mood board limit the design choices, I'm offered?
Your moodboard is a starting point, not a fixed plan. Our designers will use these to suggest ideas of layouts or materials you might not have considered to arrive at a scheme that you love. Which may be far from the one you originally dreamed about.
Our showroom is a great place of inspiration if you’re struggling to get started. Pop in for a chat and a coffee and view over 50 kitchen displays.
